Socratic Seminar

The text about globalization was very interesting, because the author thought that the global community should assist poorer countries to get on their feet and try to get rid of poverty and disease. The text explains both sides of the argument, but I think they are kind of leaning toward helping the poor counties rather than letting them help themselves. The author also says it was not the countries fault that they ended up where they are now. Hopefully, I'll have some good things to say tomorow =)
